I-29 Moo University is hosting their annual Winter Workshop series, Barn Benchmarks, to be held in five locations throughout the region beginning January 14, 2019. “This workshop series will highlight a number of experts who will focus on topics that will help dairy producers achieve success in 2019,” explained Tracey Erickson, SDSU Extension Dairy Field Specialist who is the program co-chair, along with Kim Clark, UNL Extension Dairy Educator.

Time To Visit Your Lender? Things You Should Prepare For Before Walking Into That Meeting The I-29 Moo University is hosting a webinar on Thursday, December 20 that will focus on preparing the information that lenders will ask for. The “Improving Conversations With Your Lender” webinar will outline and explain the banking benchmarks and financial documents that lenders need to evaluate loans. The webinar is scheduled for 60 minutes beginning at 11 a.m. and will include time for questions at the end of the webinar.

The I-29 Moo University collaboration will be offering their Winter Workshop Series January 8-12, 2018. They encourage all dairy producers, students, stakeholders and industry personnel to attend. The series focus is From Field to Bunk: Growing and Feeding Dairy Quality Forages. The workshop series will take place in five locations including: Mandan, North Dakota; Watertown, South Dakota; Pipestone, Minnesota; Orange City, Iowa and Norfolk, Nebraska.
