NSDA Update

  • 2017 NSDA convention is February 21 in Columbus, NE at the Ramada Hotel and Conference Center.
  • As we look forward to 2017, we will be watching activity at the Nebraska Legislature as it affects the dairy industry.  The NSDA has been participating in the Ag Leaders Working Group, studying the current situation with property taxes and working to develop solutions.  Watch for follow up information on this as we move into January.
  • I would like to remind everyone that entries for the Milk Production Awards were  recently mailed out and due back postmarked by December 31.  Awards will be passed out during the State Convention.
  • We are also encouraging nominations for the dairy producer and dairy service awards.  If you have someone you feel needs to be recognized for their contribution to the Nebraska Dairy industry, please submit their names.
