- Nine programs at 33 locations in the five-state area.
- I-29 Moo University works extensively to reach the 867,500 cows (USDA, 2017) in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and Nebraska with direct producer programming.
- Programs and tours have drawn 1,128 producers and industry professionals. This past year our programs represented over 100,000 cows in the region, alone!
- More than 600 people view our monthly e-newsletter from 150 locations worldwide, including one foreign country.
We depend on sponsorships from companies to keep the cost affordable for participants. Last year I-29 Moo University moved to an annual sponsorship request each August. Because we are moving to a summer tour, our annual sponsorship will run from July 1-June 30 each year. Annual sponsorship requests will be sent out each May with sponsorship commitment and logos due in June. This change does NOT have an impact on the number of programs each year; we are simply changing the time of year for our tour. The Winter Workshop Series will remain in January and the Dairy Beef Short Course will be in March at Central Plains Dairy Expo. This change will also spread out our programming throughout the year allowing us to better plan and promote each event.
